The Best Christmas Gifts And Stocking Stuffers For Your Apple IPhone – What IPhone Users Really Want!!!
Practical, Zany and “Ohh, I wish I had that!” Gift Ideas That Won’t Break The Bank.
Christmas is right around the corner and there are plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of items out there for your friends and loved ones who are “Apple-heads”. Right now about 30% of smart phone users have iPhones which directly translates into a huge market share of accessories. What it comes down to is there is no shortage of iPhone, iPad and Mac’ gadgets out there. So – great idea – grab a special accessory for X-Mas gifts. Here are some very practical, some zany and some “ohh, I wish I had that!” gift ideas for the holidays.
1) Tabletop Docking Station – these little gizmos give the user a dedicated place on the desk, countertop or bedside table to place and display their iPhone. Most of them have the ability to both charge and sync the iPhone. You can find desktop stations that have remote control, clocks and even have space for all your desktop essentials – pens, markers etc… There are some in the marketplace that are wireless and some that have video compsite, component and HDMI outputs for your TV. A bit of advice… some of these cradles will not fit with the iPhone if there’s a big protective case covering the Apple port.
2) Speakers – there are thousands of cool options here in various shapes, colors and sizes. You can find retro shaped speakers, art nouveau, animals likes little piggies and both electric and non-electric models out there. Some speakers in the marketplace are docking stations so these can only be used with Apple devices. I recommend finding speakers that connect using a 3.5mm jack plug (through your headphone jack). Why – almost all devices, including computers, use this connection. So, these speakers can be used with just about everything out there.
3) Car Holders – let’s face it, not everyone has one of these yet. Once again, there are completely adjustable universal models in the marketplace. Some have built in charging capabilities, fm transmitters to listen to your iPhone and for hands-free use, or simply are a resting place for your device.
4) Stylus Pens – little pens for navigating any touch screen -this is a great stocking stuffer!
5) iTunes Gift Card – I personally do not like giving gift cards but in an Apple world iTunes is the central HUB.
6) Headsets – primarily for listening to music BUT most headsets (even ultra high-end audio headsets) have mics for use with phone conversations, voice control and SIRI.
7) Chargers – ahh the most practical gift of all. I believe that one can never have enough as I despise having to unplug and plug a charger in different rooms – – great stocking stuffer!!!
8) Cases – by far the most variety of iPhone accessories sold online are cases. I cannot say what is normal but I like to change my iPhone’s case about once a month. This could be the perfect chance to find a GAG gift for a good friend – make sure they’ll get the joke. There are also sites where you can personalize cases.
9) Screen Protectors – most of us do not like changing these BUT it’s always good to have an extra!!! Get 2. Also a great stocking stuffer!!!
THE BOTTOM LINE:
If you’ve got millions then you can certainly spend some coins on these items but you don’t have to. I foresee a surge of “the little things” purchased this holiday season for use as stocking stuffers. Most of my friends and family are iPhone users so I’ll most likely put together a little bundle variety pack of items for them – there is strength in numbers!!! My recommendation… DO NOT WAIT! The cost of any iPhone accessory online is a fraction of what you will pay for the same exact item in the store – HAPPY SHOPPING!!!
