Take a drive. L.A. has got plenty of famous streets and scenic drives for you to enjoy.
Mulholland Drive goes from the Hollywood Hills to the Pacific Ocean. On your drive you’ll see mountains, deserts, mansions and great views of the city.
Another fun street to cruise down is Sunset Boulevard, one of L.A.’s most iconic neighborhoods full of glamour and glitz. The Pacific Coast Highway is one of L.A.’s most popular drives.
This awesome drive goes right along the coast and gives passer-bys an ocean view to remember. Done driving?
Why not get out and walk down the Venice Ocean Front Walk. Here you’ll find plenty of shops as well as street entertainers.
You won’t have to pay anything to be entertained at this hot spot. You could also take a stroll down Rodeo Drive, with all of the upscale shops you may want to just window shop.
Otherwise this walk probably won’t be quite so free. If you’re looking for a Hollywood experience, check out the many historic landmarks by following the signs posted around the District in Hollywood.
You can also visit Grauman’s Chinese Theatre where you’ll see footprints and handprints of Hollywood celebrities. And you can’t forget the Hollywood Walk of Fame- these sidewalk stars celebrate celebrities who made Hollywood great.
By checking out Hollywood’s Chamber of Commerce website you can find where the star of your favorite celebrity is located. The Chamber of Commerce also holds bimonthly handprint ceremonies, check it out, you may catch a glimpse of a popular celeb being honored.
While you’re in Hollywood, make sure to snap a few pictures of the famous Hollywood sign on the hills. It’s hard to miss and won’t cost you a thing!
