For example, if you’re used to taking in 3000 calories a day, if you vary it by taking in 2500 calories and 3500 calories on alternate days, you’ll be able to “trick” your body into getting used to processing 3500 calories every day, even on the days when you eat just 2500 calories. That means that you’ll burn off 1000 calories every other day, which will translate into some serious weight loss over time. It’s all about being patient, following the rules and doing it the right way.
Breaking The Calorie Shifting Diet Rules
You’ll be amazed to learn that the calorie shifting diet is actually more effective if you take breaks from it every now and then, so that your body will not acclimatize to the up and down cycles. As such, a break every two weeks is recommended, lasting from two to three days for maximum effectiveness.
