N Scale model trains are popular modeled railways and trains due to their durability and accuracy in design. One of the most popular, if not the most popular is the N scale model built by Gordon Odegard in 1978. He named his work the Clinchfield and it is noteworthy due to its modular design. This 6 by 13 feet model is made of aluminum and Styrofoam to reduce its overall weight. This design acquired so many appreciations and it has been displayed on numerous exhibits.
