Having set up this machine, and many other manual folding machines, I can safely say it takes me under 2 minutes to set this machine up. Folds are clearly marked on the two folding plates (color coded), so it is really easy to set this machine up without ever breaking out the manual.

The little motor in this machine reminds me of the little engine that could. While it isn\’t designed for high-volume folding on a daily basis, it definitely keeps up pace. The motor runs at a whopping speed of 7,200 pieces per hour. You shouldn\’t have any problems with this motor giving up the ghost. It should easily hold up for years without posing any problems.

While this is an entry-level machine, it does include a programmable paper counter and has batch folding options. It even has a sensor that turns the machine off when done. Considering that this machine, as of this article, costs less than $500, that is very impressive.

The MBM 93M can create all the common folds. This includes the single fold, letter fold, accordion fold and even the double parallel fold. Because the folding plates are manual, custom folds are a piece of cake. This machine even includes a powered exit conveyor, which helps keep paper lined up and organized as it leaves the machine.
