3. Stun guns – this self defense equipment also uses electricity in order to incapacitate or stop an attacker. However, compared to Tasers, it requires you to be in direct contact with your attacker in order for the equipment to be used effectively. It comes in different designs, models and even voltage output. You can get one that is suited for you and your preference. However, before getting any kind of self defense equipment, make sure to check with the local law authorities regarding the use of any of these devices.
