The players will each take his/her turns throwing bean bags at that raised platform. Now, a bean bag in the hole scores three points while the one in the platform scores only one point. The very first person to reach 21 points wins the game. It is very easy, isn’t it?

Well, let us break down the rules further so you understand the game perfectly. Each cornhole matches are broken down into innings. During these innings, each player will throw four bags. The player could deliver the bag from left or right pitcher’s box but in any one of the inning, all bags must be delivered from the same pitcher’s box. The player has 20 seconds to deliver the bag and the time starts the moment he/she steps onto the pitcher’s box with the intention of throwing.

In order to score, the bean bag or corn bag must be tossed inside the hole or at least land in the board. Like mentioned earlier, a corn bag inside the hole will give the player three points while a bag on the platform is one-point.

Bean bag toss game can be played as either singles or doubles. In doubles, four players are split into two teams with one member serves as a pitcher from the platform while others pitch from the other.

This game is definitely easy to understand. You do not have to spend a lot of time discussing the rules to the kids because once you showed an example to them they will surely grasp the concept right there and then.
