During my time in the work force, I arrived at the stage where I was very unsure about how to behave, relate to people or understand that what I was doing was good, or the right thing. The only thing I knew for sure, was that I went to work and did the best I could, got paid, then waited to be fired. This went on year after year and the finger was always pointed at me as to the blame and cause. No-one understood me, and I did not understand them. I have always been the => Villon turn victim in their eyes, and the => insecure become assassin in my eyes, and that is the way it is.

In brief, from the archives of my personal work-force experiences, I would like to include this disgraceful display of management, and no support to me, that has deeply affected my life. When I started work in a (large company) at Matraville in 1990 I was very happy to be there. After a year into the job I had asked one of the managers if I could do a trade course at Tafe, which would occupy one day off per week. This was okay by the manager and I started Tafe the following year, however there was a conflict of interest with one of the other managers. As time passed in this job people started to notice my association with the plant I was working on which aggravated this particular manager more, as I posed a possible threat to him. And by the way, I have never been interested in any management position. (No thanks!)

This manager was now focused on me and wanted me out! Over a short period of time he had set up various situations to make me look stupid and set up an accident to happen that nearly killed another worker, (This worker spent 3 weeks in hospital-intensive care) and the whole situation was blamed on me (Naturally). There was the accident on the plant, and part of the admin area was burnt down as-well. The management had burned down part of their own admin area, simply to have that blamed on me and this type of management is supported by other co-workers (Fear). There was the hospital, the police, fire brigade, insurance companies and ICI higher management, but no one had ever spoken to me about anything. Once again I have been the Villon and the victim and this has been the common pattern of my working life.

The reason I mention this, is because there has been no support from anyone including family and the assumption of any innocence did not existed. I have always been assumed guilty with everything that has happened at work, and my mother and father have never spoken to me about anything, or given me the benefit of the doubt or support I really needed at those particular times, and that includes the Birds and the Bees.

Speaking of Bees. Human beings could learn a lot from these amazing little creatures. They are excellent managers!
