Do I Need a Product Before I Start Marketing Online?
Many people wait to get started in internet marketing because they don’t have something to sell. If you are one of those people, I am going to take away your excuse right now. Sorry about that.
If you don’t have a product, you can still start building a list of prospects. If you have a niche, specialty or a keen interest you can start a blog on the topic. Offer up a monthly newsletter as an opt in gift or even a tip of the week so you can collect names and email addresses of those people interested in your topic. Post information that is helpful and specific to that niche. People can find general information all over the internet; what will make your blog or site stand out is the fact that you are truly involved with your topic and you are up on the current trends. You are looking for people who are interested in your topic and what you have to say about it.
Most likely you will eventually come up with a product for that market, particularly if you are having a true dialogue with your readers and listening to what they say they are looking for and need. Or if you catch yourself saying, “I wish someone would come up with a whatever” you have probably just hit upon your product. If you are wishing for a “whatever” chances are other people in your niche are looking for the same thing, too.
You can also market other people’s products, courses or services. Many online marketers have affiliate programs either through their own website or through an affiliate marketplace site like Clickbank.com or PayGear.com. Tadalis SX These sites are filled with products in every niche. You create an account on the site and then go look for products that fit in with your target market.
Do your due diligence – you want to make sure you represent a product that people will like and that is worth the money they spend. Do a Google search on the product and the author to look for any negative comments or reviews.
Start with a low-priced product; people will be in the “getting to know you” stage and are not ready to buy a big ticket item from you. Until they get to know you, they will not be willing to risk larger amounts of money with you. I have found that products under $100 ($50 is even better) have less resistance. As people become more comfortable with you and confident that you are going to be there to help them after they have bought something, they will become more inclined to purchasing more expensive products from you. But you have to earn their trust.
Here’s the main thing: Get started NOW. It doesn’t Kamagra jelly matter if you have a product to sell or not. You can always tweak and change things, add products, your own or other people’s, as you go, but the most important thing is to get started.
Remember: It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be done.
