An Occupational Therapist Describes Her Career Path
I am now a full-time Occupational Therapist in Sweden. I tend to care for patients that need special care and attention this may go as wide as physical, mental and developmental disabling conditions.
I am an accounting graduate from a reputable university. After graduating, I was lucky to be able to practice my graduate degree in a couple of companies which I found very fruitful in terms of my physical, emotional and developmental well-being. I really enjoyed working and practicing my chosen profession.
After a while, I decided to leave my country in pursue of a new career of which could help me stabilize my financials as well. A friend helped me in order for me to be easily accepted and given a visa. It all went well and I reached Sweden after traveling for a day or so.
Unfortunately, there aren’t as many people who speak English fluently in Sweden as I had originally thought. Thus, I was forced to study Swedish to increase my chances of finding a good job to sustain my stay. After waiting a long time, I was hired as an assistant to an Occupational Therapist.
Since I don’t have any experience work with an occupational therapist, they were very nice to offer me the job as a starting position. They likewise told me that it would be best for me if I would take a course in Occupational Therapy.
The next thing I knew, I had enrolled myself in an occupational therapy program. I did this simultaneously with my work. I would work in the day and attend my occupational therapy classes at night. At times I would cry and I would decide just to give up, but then I would realize that this is what I want and what I want to do. It was Cialis really good for me, because I easily adapted to the environment of Occupational Therapy. I enjoyed applying what I learned from school at work and seeing how the ideas were used by experienced Occupational Therapists. I graduated from my program with flying colors and looked forward to .
The main reason that Occupational Therapy keeps me excited is the experience of knowing someone whom you are not connected with and being able to establish a solid connection with him/her as days passed. I now have the ability to make a person feel special despite the position they have at the moment. It is unbelievable that they make us smile in a way we smile at them.
At present, I now have a partner in life and I met him during the time when he was still my patient. Just like what he keeps on saying to me every day, “You are the one who is making me stronger”, the same is what he does for me. He also keeps me stronger, gives me all the courage I need and Tadalis SX the courage to keep on doing and being what I love, being an Occupational Therapist not only for him, but for my other patients.
