Atlanta is a great city in the southern United States. The capital of Georgia, it is a happening place with plenty to do for all ages and interests.

Therefore, its land makes possible rapid growth and a vast urban sprawl. It is currently practicing many cutting edge techniques that further it in the rankings of great cities in the world.

It has recently been commended by the Environmental Protection Agency for its eco-friendly policies. In 2009, its Virginia-Highland became the first carbon-neutral zone in the U.S.

The city has a well-rounded climate to house all sorts of events while it offers the beauty of all four seasons. It stays pretty humid with plenty of rainfall which makes for a very green and rich environmental surrounding.

Consequently, Georgia is a great place to live and visit for its natural settings and conditions. In addition to its natural bliss, the city also has many architectural and cultural events that take place in the downtown and surrounding areas.

The skyline is a beautiful sight with its tallest landmark- the Bank of America Plaza which is the second tallest building in the country. It is the leading city of the “New South” and has opted for expressive modern structures. Its skyline includes works by most major U.S. firms and some of the more prominent architects of the 20th century including Michael Graves, Richard Meier, Marcel Breuer, Renzo Piano, Pickard Chilton and David Chipperfield.

Its architecture has made a significant mark on the southern region and the hospitality sector. There is definitely so much to see here.
