Study hard and do as well as you can in all of your classes because all of your grades are submitted with your applications and the graduate schools only admit people who they think can handle it and do really well.

Once you are admitted to a graduate school, understand that for the first few years you will only be studying general law. After that, then you can get into a specific area that you are interested in.

Try and get summer clerkships while you are in school because those contacts you make can lead to a permanent job later. They will also help sometimes with financial aid for school.
