Is It Better to Have One Site or Many?
When you read about how to make money in affiliate marketing, you should quickly notice that there are a lot of theories about the best way to go about it. Some do micro Cialis Jelly niche sites. Some prefer creating authority sites. Some do pay per click marketing.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each, and in deciding how you’re going to work at it, you need to think about what’s best for your work style.
Micro Niche Sites
A micro niche site is a site focused exclusively on a very tight keyword. It usually has very few pages, sometimes only one. The goal is to find a topic where you can rank easily and get affiliate commissions by referring visitors to that product they were wanting to buy.
This can work very well, but you need to create a number of sites. Do it well and they’ll pay for themselves easily. Since domain names are cheap, and most hosting will allow you to host as many sites as you please, it doesn’t take much to earn some decent money off these sites once you know what you’re doing.
It usually takes some promotion to get these going. With the right micro niches, it will be easy to rank, and the sites themselves should not take much updating.
Authority Sites
An authority site is a website that is created to be an important resource within its niche, which is usually much broader than a micro niche. You still need to pick a good niche and target market.
Authority sites take time to create and rank. You can go for the micro niches within your niche, in fact that’s a pretty good idea, but the overall site covers a lot of information on your subject.
If you’re doing all the work yourself, an authority site doesn’t take much money to create, but it takes lot of time and knowledge. It’s not easy to get the search engines to see you as an authority. It’s not easy to get visitors to see you as an authority. But if you can reach that point, it can be nicely profitable.
Pay Per Click
There are ways and ways and ways to handle pay per click marketing activities. Some like to direct their ads straight to the merchant’s website. This is challenging if the search engine limits results to one per domain name for any given search, as some do now. But you don’t have to do a lot of writing, and can just focus on finding what copy on your PPC ads leads to quality clicks that lead to sales or leads.
Others prefer to build their own list so that they can keep selling to the people who click on their ads. They create squeeze pages and provide information in exchange for an email address, then work on making the sale.
Still others make their own sales pages and direct traffic to them. This allows them to possibly improve upon what the merchant has on their own sales page.
Pay Silagra per click is expensive to learn, but profitable to those who master it. However, it can be hit rather suddenly and hard when your favorite engine changes policies and suddenly your ads aren’t being shown.
What Do I Do?
Like many people online, I do a combination of things. Authority sites have long been a favorite of mine, because I enjoy the writing part of this work. I just need to work harder on the sales part of things more often… without getting obnoxious.
But I also own some sites in smaller niches, and they can do quite well. I like the smaller amount of effort they take to create, but they certainly haven’t all paid off all that well.
Pay per click… I don’t have the patience for it. I do a bit of it, but it feels too much like work to me. Just not my style. Doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.
A mix is a good thing, but only once you know what you’re doing with whatever you start with. Don’t confuse yourself by trying to do everything at once. It won’t be good for your business. Master a skill, then take on a new one. You’re more likely to get the results you’re after.
