The big day finally arrived with the couple tying the knot on July 10 at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga. Few details have been released about the event but Us Magazine is reporting that the bride wore a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown. The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon in Tahiti.

In other Underwood news, the country singer was also the most-played “American Idol” act on radio last week, according to the site Mediabase. Her latest single “Undo It” is rocketing up the charts and is currently at the number three position on USA Today’s Country. Some other songs of hers that saw an increase in radio play included “Last Name,” “All American Girl” and “Before He Cheats.”
Carrie Underwood became the first country music singer to win the “American Idol” competition.
