Children aged 3 years up to 12 years are prone to lice in the scalp or hair. A lot of people, in fact, prefer utilizing natural treatments over traditional ones that contain very harsh and poisonous chemicals. One alternative remedy that you should try if you have the aim of getting rid of lice on your child’s head is to add some tea tree oil in your kid’s shampoo, then, use it daily to kill those lice.

Treating head lice alternatively may also be done by applying mayonnaise all over the scalp and hair, letting it stay overnight by covering the head with a shower cap, as mayonnaise is believed to be an effective substance that suffocates lice and kills them just like lice killing shampoo.

One of the safest hair lice treatments, of course, is to manually remove those lice and nits from your kid’s hair/scalp, then, squish the life out of those hair-lice. Getting rid of lice this way takes more time and effort, though, a good eyesight, and patience, so if you have time in your hands, consider the manual removal of lice.
