More than 14 million Americans have a degree of hearing loss which interferes with their ability to communicate with others. From September 21 to 28, Deaf Awareness Week shall be observed and the East Harris County coop for the deaf’s very own counselor will lend a hand in helping it achieve triumph.

This kind counselor spends time with hearing impaired kids in some schools in that area. She earned a bachelor of science degree in teaching hearing impaired and hearing children and a master’s degree in counseling with a special education certification.
