The predicament for most guys is that they do not have an inkling on how to start a conversation with a women. So most men search everywhere to find effective pick up lines to memorize so that they can use these lines when approaching girls.

Many men do not realized the dangers of using canned conversation openers. Some lines may sound great, but are overused and most women would have heard of them before. So if you use it on them, they will groan and tell you, oh no, not again.

Many more are cheesy and corny and some are even downright insulting to women although they may sound great to you. So if you want to used canned pick up lines when approaching a woman, then you must choose neutral ones and lines that seem so innocent that girls must respond to you.

So this article will show you three such neutral but effective pick up lines you can use with utmost confidence.

a) If you spot a woman you like using a cell phone, just linger around without her noticing you and just when she finishes her phone conversation, boldly walk up to her and say this, “Hi, this is a very nice phone you have. I need to get a birthday present for a buddy of mine, may I know what phone model is this, so I can get one for him?”.

Since the question is so innocent, she will be very helpful and give you a reply. Then you can continue to ask her to show you the “nice” features of the phone. Then ask to take practise on the features by taking a picture of her. She will most certainly agree because there is a funny streak in women that they like to take pictures especially of themselves. Girls are weird, aren’t they?

When the both of you are looking at the newly taken picture, you will both be standing very close together. Then simply introduce yourself and show her your phone and if yours is not as good as hers, tell her you may get a new one for yourself too.

If yours is better or newer model than hers, then explain to her your phone’s extra features. Now since both of you are now holding the phones in your hands, isn’t it appropriate now to exchange numbers?

b) Now, stay unobrutrusively from her and observe an an interesting detail of your objective’s appearance such as her earrings, her dress or handbag. Then walk up to her and say, “Hi, I really like that handbag of yours. I need to buy a birthday gift for my buddy’s girlfriend’s birthday and I think she will like something like that. Can you tell me where is a good place to go shopping to get one?”

This conversation openers can be very effective because you are bringing up a subject matter that is close to a woman’s heart, and that is shopping. What else can it be? Can you think of any woman that doesn’t like shopping?

Furthermore, by mentioning that you are buying a birthday present for a friend’s girlfriend, you are implying that you are a thoughtful and generous person. So you are portraying yourself as the kind of boyfriend that women are looking for. Isn’t that, nice?

c) This third conversational operner is most effective when approaching women at bars and clubs. Just simply walk up to the girl you are interested in and say, “Hi, I saw you on Facebook. That means that we have a common friend.” This line is very effective and works very well because, believe it or not, most if not all woman has a Facebook account and it is entirely possible that the you do have a mutual friend or even friends for that matter.

You don’t need to get into a discussion about which “friends” you might actually have in common. Now that you have started the conversation, then let the banter take its natural course.

Go ahead and start practising these neutral but effective conversation openers with the girls and start using them. I bet that you will surprised to find out how effective they can be.
