Like most people, when I first got started online marketing … I had no idea where or how to get to started.

So I did what any other savvy entrepreneur would do…I googled it. And as luck would have it, I came across a website offering to teach me for the low..low price of just $7 dollars.

I didn’t know it then but that was the bait that lured me in.

To be fair though, it was some truly valuable information for a measly $7.

From there I went on what seemed a never ending purchasing spree for “books, seminars, courses, and software”. I bought as many ‘Real Secrets to Success’ as I could afford.

I had become an “info-junkie” and as a result, some days I ended up in complete “analysis paralysis” where I couldn’t get anything accomplished.

And that is the obstacle that most ‘newbies” face. It is just TOO DARN EASY to get caught up in all the HYPE on the Internet.

Maneuvering through the massive amounts of information coming from thousands of different gurus telling you “this is the way” can be utterly exhausting.

I discovered that you DON’T need every “tool” that comes down the pike. You actually you need very little to get started successfully.

#1 Your first step should be to get your BRANDED website up and ready with a funnel system in place (The most important step)

The main reason to have your own site is because replicated sites are pretty much useless cyberspace fillers that don’t work. Second, the content on your website positions you as an expert and provides solutions to your prospects problems. Always remember this phrase, “Content is king”!

Plus having a funnel in place will allow you to make money on total autopilot!

#2 Learn How to Create traffic to Your Website

Generating traffic to your blog is alot easier than you think. The real mystery to being able to generate traffic is by choosing just one marketing method and staying with it until you generate X amount of leads-whatever number you feel is sufficient.

My favorite strategies are content driven like article marketing and video marketing.

You may prefer something else-in the long run it doesn’t matter as long as you are consistent. You can choose article marketing, social media forum marketing-just make sure you like it enough to stick with it.

#3 Build solid relationships with your list.

The success level you reach will really depend on how well you were able to connect with your list.

Bottom line, people have feel like they know you and can trust you.

You can begin the process just by simple interaction. Start by asking for your readers opinion about a post on your blog.

It’s CRITICAL that you automate the relationship building process by having an auto responders in place.

At the end of the day, it’s not about what you KNOW so much as what have you DONE. And you can’t be ‘doing’ if you are always ‘learning’.

Truth is… you probably already know enough about internet marketing to make you DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS… you just need to trust in yourself….AND TAKE ACTION!
