Teeth Whitening For Wedding Day Photos
When planning a wedding it can be both exciting and stressful with so much detail being done and in the modern era you can add teeth whitening to the list.
Looking great on our wedding day is important so preparing to lose weight, getting the hair and make up all sorted can make the big day even special as you feel and look great especially for the photographs. These are recordable memories of the day and if you have gone to so much detail but forgotten to get the teeth whitened it will be such a shame.
Many people will get a spray tan or fake bake to make them bronzed for the big day even hit the sun beds for a while and this glowing skin will make the teeth even worse as the contrast will not be as it could look after whitening.
Now if budgets are tight and this is feasible after spending so much on the wedding there is the home kit option which is the cheapest form of whitening but this will require a regular approach maybe once per day for 30 minutes minimum for around ten to fourteen days consecutively and you will see a lifting of the teeth colour of a few shades. It might be worth planning in advance so you do not need to whiten in the last week before the wedding as you will probably have other activities and engagements to attend in the week prior to the wedding day.
The other option is to look at the power whitening system which will whiten the teeth in just 60 minutes from start to finish. This will obviously save you time when you are busy with other wedding related business and with power whitening the results are instant so no need to see how white the teeth will whiten. This will cost more money but some companies offers big discounts if you can arrange a few people to have their teeth whitened at the same time. Maybe persuade the parents or the bridesmaids and everyone can have white teeth for the big day photos!
It is best practise to leave it a week between get the teeth whitened and the big day just in case you get any sensitivity. In most cases it should go completely in a few days but can last longer so no point in taking any unnecessary risks and this is why a week is sensible time span to leave.
In any event always see your dentist and check your teeth and gums are all ok before starting any whitening program.
Getting a new bright smile is a joy and can help you look youthful and radiant. It does not have to expensive or even time consuming but for a one off event like a wedding it makes perfect sense to get the teeth brighter and whiter. The photos will only accentuate the whiter teeth if you still get the skin tanned so well worth doing. Whatever you select good luck with the big day.
