Five Tips to Use For Christian Video Marketing Success
One of the hottest trends in internet marketing today is video marketing. Video marketing is an excellent tool to use to drive traffic to your website. Although there are very few exclusively Christian video sites like Tangle.com. There are many other video websites, however the lion’s share portion of video watchers are on YouTube. The way that YouTube works is that you make a short video usually less than five minutes and then you upload it to YouTube for free. It sounds pretty simple, but there is actually a little bit more to the story.
First of all you need video editing software. If you are a PC user you can use Windows Movie Maker, Mac users can use iMovie, or you can use web-based video producing software like One True Media. Another way you can produce video is just by producing recording using your computer’s web cam or a camera like Flip. Your video should be interesting, providing useful information and/or funny. A good rule of thumb is to produce something you would want to watch. If your video is properly tagged it can start attracting viewers immediately! The most popular videos on YouTube have been watched by millions of viewers.
Fortunately, people never get tired of new information or entertainment, so there is always room for more. Here are five tips to bring you success in video marketing:
1) Make sure the name of your website appears at least twice in your video you don’t want your hard work to be stolen and re-submitted to YouTube advertising another website.
2) The link to your website including the http:// is the first thing you should write in the description. The reason for this is that you want people to be able to immediately click on your link and go to your website. You are more likely to get traffic this way than if they have to cut and paste or type out the url.
3) The last frame of your movie needs to have a call to action and your website link. For example, say “For a free list of available jobs go to blahblahblah.com now!” Don’t assume people will see your wonderful video and just go to your website tell them to go and why it is in their best interest to do so.
4) Tag your video properly. After you have put your website address in the description, your next set of words should include your keywords. Keywords are terms that you typically would be found for in a web search and this holds true for YouTube. Visit some of the more popular videos on YouTube that you are competing with and see what they have done to get to the top of YouTube search engine. Use similar keywords as those videos if they are relevant and could apply to your video. Don’t copy their description write a description that makes sense, but find a creative way to integrate your keywords as many times as you can.
5) Spend time developing your Custom Channel. People look at your custom channel write a profile, include a picture and a link to your website and play with the colors it makes your YouTube channel look more professional and ultimately people will take your videos more seriously.
Finally, video marketing is a great way to build brand awareness for your company or website, to establish yourself as an expert in your industry and to develop the image of your products and/or website. If used wisely you will see a definite increase in your website traffic in a short period of time.
