Affiliate CPA Marketing Secrets of CPA Millionaires
CPA or “Cost Per Action” marketing has been all the rage over the last few years. With the explosion of high traffic websites comes the marketing opportunity for some clever internet marketers. Many of these marketers are now making BIG money with simple CPA offers on these high traffic websites or traffic networks.
So what is CPA marketing and what is a CPA “offer”? Well, it is simple. Every time a visitor takes action on the offer (this could be a simple email submit, zip code submit, filling out a simple form or buying a product) a payout occurs to the person promoting the offer as an affiliate. The range of pay can be from a few cents, to over $100+ per sale.
The types of CPA offers vary from games, health products, ringtones, “As Seen on TV” products and more. There are many CPA companies online that have these offers. To find them, just do a simple web search for “CPA networks” and you will find plenty of them.
Now, as mentioned earlier, many of these marketers are making HUGE money everyday with CPA campaigns. Some of these marketers profit over $1000 or more a day!
So what do they do? What CPA techniques and secrets do they use?
I’m about to give you 5 methods or techniques marketers use to successfully make money in CPA marketing…
1. Pick the Right CPA Offer
Once you are with a good CPA network, it is time to find offers you want to promote. Many of the “big dog” marketers will go with products or CPA offers that will pay out at least $5+ per action. A proven CPA offer that you know that converts is best. It is best to pick 1-3 offers in one niche, and test them. Don’t pick too many offers to begin with…focus, focus, focus.
2. Target the Right Demographic
Now that you have your offers you want to promote, the next thing to do is drive the right kind of traffic to it. Traffic is king. Without traffic, you will not make the big money. But you don’t want just any kind of traffic, you want “targeted” traffic that fits the demographic criteria of your CPA offer. So do a demographic search on a site like Alexa.com and Quantcast.com with the URL of your CPA offer. Make note of it. Then, locate traffic sources that will match this demographic information and start running some test campaigns on it. Try direct linking and also using a landing page to “presell” your offer. You can use a simple HTML page or a blog.
3. Go Wide and Test
Now you have your offers and your traffic, the next thing to do is test everything. Test your offers, test your traffic sources and see what happens. Be sure to track everything so you know what is converting and from what traffic source! This is going to be your key to success! So shoot wide with your campaigns and let it run for a bit.
4. Optimize and Squeeze Out a Winner
After some testing you will start to see winning campaigns begin to popup. They may not make profit right away, but if you start to see conversions, this is a good sign. Ditch losing campaigns and offers and focus on the ones that are getting some conversions. Then take these winners and optimize, optimize and test test test! Do this until you are in profit, then…
5. Scale Up and Go Big!
Take that winning campaign and increase your traffic and go big! You know it converts, so now all you have to do is scale up your traffic and watch your profits simply explode! This is how the “big dogs” do it. They have several winning campaigns and they ramp up the traffic to winning campaigns!
