Most kids love eating cookies; so do the teens, adults, young at heart. All ages, men and women and practically everybody loves to eat cookies. Who will resist the crunchiness, sometimes chewy, moist and large that comes with a twist of the all time favorite chocolates?
At Ye Ole Sweets Shoppe, you will find a wide variety of cookies that everyone will surely love and like. This bakeshop is well known for its sweets, treats, pastries and refreshments that you can enjoy in a joyful and classic soda shop. But what made this shop famous are the cookies; it all started through these cookies and still this product continues to provide the popularity that the shop is currently enjoying.
The shop opened its door to the local public of Erie, Pennsylvania in way back 1983 by offering home made cookies. This was a big hit in downtown Erie. Time changes so do the Ye Ole Sweets Shoppe’s ownership as well its management. Jean Alecci, a close relative of the first owner of Ye Ole Sweets, stepped up the business in to higher level where she introduced several and huge changes for the store. In addition to the cookies as their product line, the shop also sells other pastry products such as brownies, muffins, pizzeles, scones, and biscotti. The new owner introduced a refreshing ambience to the store in order to attract more loyal customers. One of the owner’s legacies is to promote cookies as gift. She started the cookie gift baskets, and cookie trays where the famous and home made cookies can be available for everyone. This was also a good marketing strategy in the owner’s side because there is an increasing demand for the gift baskets. More and more customers are trying these cookie gift baskets and cookie trays; they literally buy one and give to their loved ones, friends, and colleagues or to anyone deserving a good treat. In this gift basket, you can choose the cookies that you want to give. For example, you can give twelve different cookies in one box. You can also put one cookie flavor if you want. You can customize it, just consult the owner first. Ye Ole Sweets’ home made cookies comes in different flavors, so there is no reason for you to get tired eating them.
After years of successful ownership by Alecci, she then sold the rights of the shop to Lea Yedeski, a loyal employee of the shop. Lea continued what her predecessor accomplished. In addition to that, she made sure that the quality of the cookies is still great and as much as possible do not deviate from the original recipe. She introduced Ye Ole Sweets into the world of Internet; she put up a website for the shop where anyone can view “what’s baking” in the shop. She also add delivery services all around the country. While in delivery, she made sure that the cookies stayed fresh even if the delivery is done at most two to three business days. So if you don’t have time, visit the site of the shop or give them a call. Make the people around you happy, share cookies!
