One way of improving drainage is to keep gutters, valleys, downspouts and the roof free of debris. These may be in the form of dried twigs, leaves, or other litter. Schedule a roof inspection during spring time so that damages that were incurred during winter time can be repaired. An example of this one can be loose shingles. It is also advisable to turn off your main water source when the family goes on vacation.
