The wines served here are both from local vineyards as well as international vineyards.
At the Hotel Byblos in St. Tropez there are two wonderful restaurants; the Bayader or the Byblos Spoon. This hotel is used mostly by celebrities who are form the entertainment and sports scenes. You will find a continental breakfast being served at the Byblos Spoon along with coffee and berry confitures along with fruit marmalades and croissants. For lunch you will find lovely green salads and for dinner vegetables braised in olive oil and lightly grilled fish among other things.
The Bayader can be found directly beside the pool of the hotel and so you can have an al fresco meal or you can sit in the beautiful dining room if you would prefer. There is a favourite for people who got to the restaurant. It is an asparagus; morel mushroom concoction that is purely vegetable is also mostly enjoyed as an appetizer. The other favourite is the stewed lobster that is served with vegetables and lamb. You can follow this with a chocolate dessert that is rich and sweet to seal your appetite. Here you will find local wine as well as champagne.
On the southwest you can find the Villa Belrose restaurant which provides fine cuisine of light lunches as well as multi course dinners. You can make dinner reservations at Le Charavins in rue Charabois. Here you will find traditional French cuisine along with some crisp loves, local and national wines as well as some very delectable sauces. They have an evening special so ask about this before you make your order. This restaurant is a bit more pricey than others but with the delectable dishes served you will be more than happy with how your money is spent.
Wherever you plan to take a family holiday this summer, be sure to look at some of the diverse range of eateries that are available in the locations that you are looking at.
