Many companies now use a temp agency to find staff and set up interviews. These companies can save time and money as most temp agencies will perform a background check and find a good job match candidate. With such severe competition for even basic jobs, agencies are perfect to help you get working again. Since the company can filter applicants more properly and you can present yourself to the requirements, it can be easier to get a job.

Some of these companies prefer to use a temp agency for employee absences due to illness, vacation, maternity leave or when someone has left the company. They also might need to fill positions for a seasonal job or when they have special projects that will need more employees than usual for a set period of time. They can also fill gaps prior to a military enlistment, or college.

This can be a huge benefit for both the company and the potential temporary employee. When employment is laid out in a specific way, it helps all interested parties. Getting help when you need it on short notice is also a great thing. There are always short term surges in production that needs to be covered in some way.

You can look at a temp agency for so many things in the employment arena. Be it short term, season labor, you can fill certain needs at specific times of the year. If you need specific expertise, but not permanently such as accountants, that is an excellent way to help out. Special projects are so much easier with a plan, and extra help as well. Ask for that special person to fill a specific role, have specific skills, and you are all set.
