STEP 1: Prepare the site
Preparing the site is a crucial part of putting up your pool. Remember that this site is where you will place your above ground pool. You have to be mindful of this fact as you go along through this first step.
The Sub steps:
1. You have to remove the sod from the ground. You can easily do this with a sod cutter
and a shovel.
Note: Before doing this, you have to be equipped with the exact measurements of your pool so you\’ll know how much sod you have to remove from the ground.
2. Use a roller to even up the ground.
STEP 2: Put up the pool walls
As you know, your pool\’s walls are one of the main features that make your pool sturdy. See to it that you get a companion to help you to successfully put it up.
The Sub steps:
1. Lay patio blocks and rocks to support your wall panels.
2. Take out all the walls and spines from your package. Make sure that they are complete. Compare them with the manual that comes with the package. If there is anything missing, call your dealer immediately.
3. Join all your wall panels by using your spines. Spines are the aluminum rods that comes in the package. If your spines do not slide down easily, use a non-petroleum based lubricant or cooking spray. If you do not have either one, take a rubber mallet and pound the rod down into place.
4. Fasten the walls by adjoining the wall coping unto it.
5. Bring in your masonry sand and rake it evenly into place.
STEP 3: Attach the skimmer and return fitting
Your package should contain all rods and bolts that you will need for this step. If not, contact your dealer right away.
The Sub step:
1. Attach the skimmer into the square hole on one of the wall panels. Do this with your power drill.
2. Put in the return fitting in the pre-drilled hole on the wall panel.
Step 4: Installing the pool liner and securing your face plates
Make sure to check for holes, crevices and imperfections on your pool liner before proceeding. If you find anything bad, call your dealer for a replacement.
The Sub steps:
1. Snap the beaded edge of your pool liner into the receiver track that is posed inside your wall coping.
2. Fill your pool with water. Fill it just below your skimmer.
3. Hold on to your face plates. (1 for your skimmer and 1 for your return fitting) Poke a small and sharp knife to cut through the pool liner. Fasten them into place with their corresponding locks, screws and bolts.
Now, you are done. Kudos to you! You may now enjoy your above ground pool!
