Cuisinart Pizza Stone Brick Oven

The new Pizza Stone Brick Oven is the newest toaster oven that Cuisinart has introduced that increases the options you have for different styles of baking or cooking. Now you can have the pizza crust done the way the restaurants do it without having to spend tons of money on a large brick oven.

Have you ever had a pizza baked in a brick oven on a baking stone? These were made famous in Chicago with their numerous pizza parlors that all use wood burning brick ovens with a baking stone for the pizza to sit on. These are considered some of the best pizza crusts made anywhere, once you tasted one, anything else just isn\’t the same. The only obstacle that most people will face is either they don\’t live in Chicago or they can not afford to have a brick oven built in their kitchen. The next best alternative may very well be the Cuisinart\’s stone brick oven that will cost under $300 that has four options for cooking or baking.

The new Pizza stone brick oven has brick inlays built into the sides and the oven is still 0.9 cubic feet which is large enough for a 12″ pizza or a roast, couple of chickens, etc. This unit sits on a counter top and could become the most used appliance you have in your kitchen. The unit is small enough that it could fit in an RV or a dorm room or any where there is the need for a oven but not the space.

In regards to the other three options, convection baking (which is the prefer method for professional chefs), is one of the more efficient form of cooking you will ever experience. Professional chefs and restaurants have use them for years over conventional ovens. Convection ovens are far more efficient and cost effective to use than your normal oven by being able to cook foods at lower temperatures (about 25 degrees cooler), the food will cook evenly, and in less time (about 25% quicker). The secret to convection ovens and how they keep a more uniform heat distribution is a fan that will keep the air circulating. This circulation is why you will not get the hot spots that are typical with conventional ovens. In a conventional oven the hot air will just sit there and not move and the temperature will become significantly hotter in the back of the oven than in the front (heat escapes when you open the oven door). Since convection ovens do not have hot spots the finished product is usually much better in both appearance and taste, plus you do not have to worry about “turning a pie” or rotating a pizza. The broiler and toaster options also adds to the overall convenience of this toaster oven over other models you will find.

Since 1973 when Cuisinart was founded, they have been the market leader for many different types of kitchen appliances. Over the years they have shown that they will only use the highest quality material and workmanship for any of their products. As with most of the Cuisinart\’s products, there is 3 year limited warranty that comes with this versatile toaster oven that makes a great second oven for a fraction of the price and space.
