How to Breast Massage at Home
Breast massage is a technique in massage therapy that aims in improving the appearance, feel, contour and health of the breasts. The therapy is known for treating several conditions of the breasts including the prevention of the dreaded breast cancer which is a known killer world-wide.
The therapy can be done in a massage spa or any health center but can always be done at home. Do-it-yourself breast massage is fast becoming popular among women today as it does not involve another person doing the massage for them. Discomfort usually arises during the therapy session due to the sensitivity of the breasts when being touched especially by another individual. Regardless of the massage therapist being professional and ethical in conducting the massage therapy, the fact that the therapist is conducting massage strokes on the breasts of the patient makes her uncomfortable.
In doing a home massage for your breast therapy, you will need to have a private place where you can perform your massage without interruption. The fact that you will need to remove your upper cloth means that you need a private room in order to be able to do that.
Grab some of your preferred lotions, creams or massage oils at the store as you will need lubricants to cover your breasts for your massage therapy. Make sure that your lubricants are not harmful for the skin. It would be best if you do some research regarding what type of oil, cream or lotion is great for massaging the breast area. This would cut the risk of experiencing skin conditions such as skin allergies and irritations. Massaging the breasts without the use of any of these will cause discomfort to your skin.
Performing a breast massage would be best done after taking a bath as it gives you a fresh start for the therapy session. Make sure that you dry your breasts with a dry towel before applying any of the lubricants you want to use. Apply as much as you need in order to fully cover the breasts and the surrounding area for a more convenient manipulation of the massage strokes. Do not use too much lubricant as it will leave a messy feeling on your breasts as the dripping will sometimes become bothersome and uncomfortable during the therapy session.
Begin the massage therapy by placing your fingers in the nipples and in a slow and gentle motion slide them outward. Bring them back in the same position and repeat for five times before going to the next step. Now use your hands to lift the bottom part of the breasts and use your thumb to gently knead them without applying too much pressure. Afterwards work with a twisting motion on the breasts using controlled pressure as you gently rotate each breast from a clockwise to a counter clockwise direction. Finish the therapy with a relaxing light sliding touch from the center of the breast going to the side of the chest. You can do various numbers of repetitions depending on your preference and your need.
