If you\’ve recently installed black or white carpeting in your home, you might already have some scraps that you can use for this project. If not, carpet stores usually have remnants that they sell for reasonable prices. To create a faux zebra print throw rug from remnants, you will need black and white carpet scraps, in addition to a piece of sturdy backing material. Canvas, burlap, denim or other durable fabrics can all be used. You\’ll also need a sharp pair of sturdy scissors, and some household adhesive or fabric glue.
