Let me stop right there because that’s another misnomer in the pick up world – alpha male does not mean jerk or arrogant creep. Alpha male traits are those that include being the type of man who protects those he loves. It also means having confidence and loyalty and leadership qualities.

There isn’t a man in this world you couldn’t stand to have these characteristics if he doesn’t already. Alpha male traits mean you have boundaries and standards and you don’t put up or tolerate people treating you anything less than the way you demand.

This means you are not wimpy, are not supplicating, and are not a doormat.

It’s a shame that men who have standards, such as wanting to be treated with respect, can even get confused with men who are just arrogant jerks.

So along with studying, learning, and embracing alpha male traits, part of learning the art of pick up is also figuring out how to pursue your passions and be the most satisfied and fulfilled that you can be. You only have one life. Don’t squander it away by being lazy or afraid to try.

Being a true pick up artist means always acting with integrity and dignity. It’s about helping others along the way. Did you know that most people who are successful in business to the point of being millionaires and mega rich are the ones who are always helping others along the way?

It’s true. Usually the selfish, greedy guys are the ones who fail in business.

There are strategies on how to approach women and how to easily strike up conversations. There are ideas for how to increase the level of attraction that a woman might feel toward you. The pick up artist community is overflowing with good ideas that will teach you more about being successful with women because ultimately most of it is truly is about skills. And skills can be learned.

But remember that at the heart of a true pick up artist is the never-ending journey toward self-improvement and self-fulfillment. The first place you should look if you want to be successful with women is inside yourself. You should make sure that before you learn all the tips and techniques that your personal, emotional, financial, mental, and physical house is in order. If you do this first, you are bound to succeed. And you will live a richer, more fulfilling life.
