According to the scale, the higher the number, the faster the food breaks down to glucose, while the lower the number, the slower the food breaks down to glucose.

The idea behind Low G.I. Diet is that your diet will consist of low glycemic index foods. Low glycemic foods are slow to breakdown to glucose, which will keep your metabolism high, and at the same time it will keep you away from those dreadful hunger pangs for longer periods of time.

Low Fat Diet

This diet is simple to understand. However, don’t be fooled with its simplicity for it is very effective diet. The diet consists of foods that contain little fats, especially the bad fats such as cholesterol and saturated fat.

One diet that is not advisable is the 7 day diet. The original creator of 7 day diets are not known. However, the diet is poorly balanced, and it can lead to unhealthy eating lifestyle.
