Most men erroneously think that beautiful women are attracted and turned on only by men who are wealthy and good looking. This notion is probably influenced by the movies. In actual life, women are attracted by many other male attributes. Being rich and handsome do help in some way as these traits give those men a slight edge on the scale of social status which is by itself an attractive masculine trait. The advantage is only a slight one because if you look around, there are many average guys who can and do attract beautiful women.

So how do these average looking guys with average incomes make themselves so attractive to the girls? Granted that some of them have the attractive charisma naturally while others know what to do and say when in the company of girls. These men know how to press the buttons that turn on women.

Now, in order to understand how to be attractive to girls, we need to understand what women dislike in men which turn them off so as not make those mistakes.

Women are turned off by emotionally weak men, men who are not confident in themselves. Girls are genetically programmed to be attracted to dominant alpha males. Confident men who have strength of character are the types of guys who make girls melt. So guys who are shy, insecure and nervous will find it hard to be attractive to women. When you are nervous or shy amongst women, it will be detected rather easily because women have an intuitive sense about men feeling inferior to them.

You can also turn a woman off if you are trying too hard to please her by giving in to all her demands. Of course it is an honorable thing to be nice to your woman, but if you accede to all her demands, it is a sign of inferiority to her and she will see it as an emotional weakness and will run roughshod over you. Girls want real men who can stand up to their principles and not whimpering wussies.

Men who lack social intelligence are also big turn offs as far as women are concerned. Social intelligence is the skill of how to behave appropriately in various social settings. If you do not have these social skills, she will be embarrassed to be seen with you.

Although looks are not as important as most men think, you cannot be apathetic about your personal appearance. You need to show women that you take pride in the way you look and be presentable in all times. Really, do you think that any woman will want to be seen with a dirty unkempt man as her boyfriend?

Now that you know some of the things that can turn women off, let us look at what men can do to make themselves more attractive to women.

The first thing you can do when in the company of women is to have fun. You see, guys often get nervous or insecure around women whom they like and so the rare fella who can allow a woman to relax and have fun is up ahead in the game. Just ask any girls whether they want to have a fun and exciting boyfriend or a boring nerd as one and you will almost invariably get the same answers.

So let your hair down. Be playful with the girls. Tease and flirt with them and you will find them wanting a piece of you.

Guys who display leadership in social situations are also very attractive and irresistible. Women like their men to take on the leadership position when grouped with other men. The more people a woman sees people looking up to you, the more attractive you are to her.

So if you want to be attractive to women, then just be sure that you do not do the things that turn them off and do all those things that turn them on and you will always be successful with women.
