The way the internet has exploded over the last decade has been nothing short of amazing. One of the greatest things about it is that much of the technology that you can share on the internet has made dramatic improvements as well. On one hand, there is technology available so that anyone can do their own commercial production if they had the right equipment. However, just because you can produce a commercial on your own, does not mean you should. If you have a serious business and you want to make a commercial, you should use a production services company.

One reason that you should not make your own commercials for your business is that most of the time; they just do not look good. You have seen some of those commercials, have you not? They are the ones that were done by small, local companies in your area. The copy is bad, the lighting is bad, the message is bad, in other words; everything was bad. One you determine what the message is of the commercial, you have to find a way to bring that message to life. Do you want to feature the company and the things you can do or is it better to show an everyday person struggling with some of the problems that your business has the ability to fix? Do you want the speaker to be onscreen or use a voice over? Should there by any text messages that travel across the bottom of the screen? The answers to these questions and many others will all affect the impression that people get from your commercial. If you want them to get the message that your business is a solid, professional company that they should use for their business, hire a professional; do not try to do it yourself.
