How to Write SEO Content

How to SEO your site is what it is all about. Writing SEO content is similar to writing an article or any other content for publication except for the fact that SEO content is designed to rank high on the search engines. Search engine optimization of a website includes quality content that is original and unique for the reader. SEO content that is published on your website must only be published once on the internet only. Your website content must be displayed only on your site and no where else online. Google and the other search engines will rank a site that has original content much higher than duplicate content.

Writing SEO content begins with writing one paragraph at a time. First of all write about something that you know. Your website should be based upon a topic that you love to talk about all day long. Everyone is some kind of expert about something, so write about what you really know. Take your first thought or idea and begin by writing just one sentence and then elaborate upon that with 2 more sentences until you have a small paragraph of about 2 to 4 sentences. Everyone on the internet likes to read a small paragraph at a time, you are better off just writing 6 to 7 small paragraphs for your website. The search engines prefer about 500 words for your home page site. Do not be over whelmed, just write a little at a time.

Give your readers what they want. Think about the kind of questions that others would have concerning your topic and answer them within your website content. Organize all of your paragraphs so that they flow from the beginning of topic to the end conveying all of your information in the proper order. Keep the interest of your readers as you write so that they will continue to read every paragraph. Your information is important to many people online so write like an expert and give them all of the pertinent information so that they can benefit from the knowledge.

Use intelligent conversation style writing when constructing your content. Choose appropriate language as you write. Convince your readers that you know what you are talking about. You will probably write your copy in Microsoft Works or Word. Everyone has to some degree a limited vocabulary, so highlight a word that seems ordinary and use the thesaurus to find a better word that says what you mean and gives clarity to the thought. Talk to your reader like you would a friend and instruct the person when necessary so that they will better understand and be able to accomplish the task much easier. Writing content for anything can be like teaching. Keep your content fresh by always updating it every 30 days.

When it comes to writing for SEO you need to think in terms of ranking. When writing your first paragraph use your keyword many times especially in the first paragraph because this tells Google what your site is all about and determines the relevancy of your site so that it will rank high on the search engines for that keyword. The keyword density of your site should be 3 to 4 percent of your overall content. Look at my website for an example. SEO is what my website is all about. Think about your keyword when you write. Rich content that explains how to do something will rank much higher on the search engines.
