One of the common methods to shape the eyebrows is to pluck or shave them into clean shape. But before you go ahead with any of these measures, it is first best to find the right shape for you. To do this you can use a straight stick and place it perpendicular to the inner edge of the brows.

Mark the topmost point to indicate where your eyebrow starts. Do the same thing on the outer portion and mark the area where it ends. To determine the arch, you put the stick perpendicular to the outside iris of the eye and then mark the highest spot of the eyebrow.

Plucking

Once you’ve delineated the eyebrow area that you need to work on, the next thing is to prepare your tweezers. A word of advice – if you want the process to be less painful, cool the tweezers first in the freezer. This will help numb the area as the instrument touches the skin. You can also apply a warm cloth over the area to help open the pores and much easier for you to remove the hair.

Brush your brows to get the exact shape that it has. Then pull the skin back to make it taut and easier to pluck. At and acute angle in the direction of the hairs, remove the stray ones that grow out from your brows. You can also trim the brows to make it less bushy. Remember to only finely cut the excess length that grows outside the natural shape.

Shaving

When shaving your eyebrows, the thing that you have to prepare is a shaving cream. This will make the process run smoothly and prevents any ingrown. But prior to any shaving, it would help if you pencil the shape first. Only shave those areas that are out of the natural shape will have to be removed. Doing too much will just leave you with pencil thin brows.

Trimming can also be incorporated into the process to make sure that the shape is clean and less bushy.

Threading

This method would best be performed by other people compared to the first two techniques. This procedure requires the right technique, angle and placement of the thread to remove those hairs that needs to be taken off. When you go to the salon and have this done, it would be best to bring a photo of the result that you want.

Another way to come up with a perfectly shaped eyebrow is to use cosmetic tattoos.
