Pointers on How to Choose Sarees

Just as I reached home, I saw the hustle and bustle around the house. It turns out that my favorite cousin’s shadi card had arrived! The first thing that I did was to call my best friend for a shopping date, grab my purse and head out to the car. As soon as I picked her up from her house, we started to plan our route. “Let’s go to Tariq road,” she said, “there are some of the best designer outlets there from which you can select your wardrobe”. I agreed and turned my car that way. On our way, we decided what I was going to wear on the four day occasion, mayon, mehndi, barat and valima. “You have to have a saree for barat or valima , first lets head for the designer sarees and designer saree blouses outlets”.

There are a lot of choices in preferred eastern formal wears. However, Chooridaar pajama, Gharara and Saree fashion have never died throughout the years. Different fashion styles have changed, but women still turn to these traditional dresses for wedding occasions. These styles are not only feminine and beautiful, but also very elegant looking. But if one has a beautiful figure and adequate height, there is nothing more beautiful on a woman than a designer saree and designer blouse!

As soon as we reached a famous designer outlet, I could see the latest style of saree and blouses perched on the mannequins on display. The shop owner guided us through the latest high in demand designs. Here are some basic points one should remember when buying a saree:

– Always know for sure what kind of fabric saree you are most comfortable in wearing. This enables you to select from the vast varieties of fabric available in the designer shop like Chiffon, Silk, Brocade, Banarsi, Faux Georgette and others.

– The season’s color and contrast is also very important to consider. But please do not forget your own complexion before buying a particular color combination. Black, white and red are classic colors for sarees.

– Do survey the market yourself for the “kaam” that is most IN these days, rather than taking the word of the shop keeper. This will save you from the trouble of choosing, since the designer outlets have all kinds of works available like Resham, Zari, Stone, Kundun, Dabka, Sequins etc. It’s hard to choose since every single one looks more beautiful than the next!

– After choosing the work, choose the blouse style that suits you most and of course consider the sort of public that is gathering for the occasion in which you are going to wear it. The styles include string style, front zipper, back knot, round neck, collared neck and off shoulder blouses.

– After you select the saree and blouse, please do carefully notice if the seams have over-lock. Good designer saree outlets have over-lock and falls are already stitched.

– Last, but not the least, consider the cost and your budget. The rates in designer shops are generally fixed. So you should see the tag before selecting any saree.

Designer sarees and designer blouses can easily be bought online these days. These sarees may be ordered with or without stitched blouses, you can give measurements for stitching online as well. There is also a choice for you to select from petticoat fabrics like cotton or lizibizi.

So these pointers will hopefully help you to stream line your search. Now you might be wondering what I bought. I settled on a tea pink chiffon embellished saree with a round neck jamawar blouse. It will look fabulous with my figure and complexion. I’m sure yours will too!
