Acidic Body -VS- Alkaline Body

All of the foods you ingest either support your body’s acidity or your body’s alkalinity. Most acidic foods are man-made foods, which are all processed (junk-food). Acidic foods support the toxicity of your body by causing inflammation. Inflammation creates most diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, cancer, heart disease, bacteria and viral infections, etc. Alkaline foods, or “God Food”, support the alkalinity in your body, resulting in the literal starvation of the disease process as they create an anti-inflammatory environment. DISEASE CANNOT LIVE IN AN ALKALINE BODY.

Food For Thought

In the movie, “GMO OMG!”, it was reported that we produce more than twice the amount of food needed to feed everyone on the planet! As Americans, we over-consume foods, yet we are undernourished! Why is that? The short answer is that we’ve replaced good, healthy diets with fast food, processed food, and junk food. This diet offers your body ZERO nutrition and keeps your body hungry, as most junk food is not only overly processed, it is also full of added sugar! Your body stays in the state of hunger for two reasons: 1) It isn’t getting the nutrients it needs, and 2) sugar is highly addictive, and since it is in 80% of the products in your grocery store, the addiction to sugar keeps you hungry for more.

Foods To Avoid While Detoxing

Here is a list of foods that you should eliminate for best detoxing results! This is a snap shot, not meant to overwhelm you, but to enlighten you. I promise I will get into the “why” on some of the foods listed in subsequent articles that follow in this series. For the time being, know that this list is strictly for the detoxing period of 28 days. After the 28 days, it is okay to introduce real foods back into your diet, like organic, whole fruits. The reason most fruits are eliminated during your detox is that they are high in sugars, and we want to ingest the smallest amounts of sugars during your detox as possible!
