Halloween is one of my favorite times of year, but with many of Houston best clubs, it does not have to be Halloween for a costume party to be taking place. There are many clubs and bars that do parties like this all year long. I personally think it is great when they do us. It gives guys like me a tremendous opportunity to be someone else for the night and try to be with the pretty ladies all night long without them knowing the real me. Some of these parties can be calm, but a lot of them turn into outrageous costume parties that go through the night.

Parties like this give you the chance to be anyone, so you may as well take the opportunity to go all out and be outrageous. You can be anything or anyone you want to be, so try to take advantage of that fact. Also remember that the type of costume you choose can have a big effect on how the ladies react to you.

What I mean by this is you don’t want to choose some boring costume. Don’t go dressed as an accountant, a priest or the President. Girls won’t even give you a second look for that. On the other end of the spectrum, stay away from slasher costumes from horror movies. They will just think you are some kind of a nut case.

You will likely notice that many of the girls are dressed in somewhat provocative costumes. This is just another positive of going to parties like this. It seems that most of the female costumes today trend towards the sexy side, even if you are a nun, Little Red Riding Hood or Minnie Mouse. Put a short skirt and a low-cut blouse in any costume, and suddenly it’s sexy.

Unless you are in really good shape (which in your case you probably don’t need to go to these parties and, by the way, I hate you), your best bet is to go with some kind of humorous costume. Just don’t pick something out that you will have to explain to every girl you meet. If they can’t figure out what you are, they aren’t going to want to talk to you. Be original, but try to keep it simple too.

Once you are at the party, let loose and have some fun. You’re behind a mask, so no one knows that you are that geeky guy from the IT department. Mingle with all the girls with great confidence and be the type of guy you always see getting all the women to laugh and dance with them.

When you hit the costume parties at the Houston best clubs, you will find that you are a whole new person. If you can find a bunch of them to go, that will work out even better for you. Vary up your costumes, try different things and be different personalities. You will find yourself gaining access to the world where you always wanted to go into but the normal world always closed off for you. Good luck.
