This is the second year in a row that the “Single Ladies” star took the number one spot on the list and it speaks to her broad appeal around the world. Knowles earned about $87 million over a 12-month period and also has several endorsement deals with companies like L’Oreal and Nintendo.

Beyonce is also going to appear via video on the hit reality television show “Britain’s Next Top Model.” She will be challenging the show’s contestants to create a unique commercial that should be inspired by her brand new perfume Heat. In a sneak peak snip of the recorded video, she says to the show’s contestants, “You will need to convey, on camera, a strong, sexy and powerful image. Let’s see what you’ve got in front of the camera and if you can handle the heat.”

Beyonce Knowles got her start in the music industry when she signed with what would ultimately become one of the most popular all-female R&B groups of all time, Destiny’s Child. The band started gaining attention throughout the 1990s and became known for a series of smash hit singles like “Jumpin’ Jumpin,” “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name.”

It was a double-disc effort that showed off Beyonce’s abilities as both a mainstream pop artist and an R&B crooner. Her hit single from the album, “Single Ladies,” went onto become a radio favorite that same year.
