Going Above and Beyond in Football

Working out for football can be frustrating because you use your whole body. Many people feel that they cannot target just one area in their body when they are working out because they use so many of their muscles.

If you feel that you are just to overwhelmed when you are working out for football, you have to remember that there are workouts designed for football players. These workouts can be long and hard but will be well worth it.

Taking advantage of the workouts that are already laid out can be extremely beneficial. If you are looking for workouts to do during your offseason, do not be afraid to consult those that have more knowledge than you.

First, you should look to your coaches for workouts that you should be doing when your team is not practicing. Your coaches will be able to pinpoint what you should be working on individually.

After they have told you what you should be working on, they will also be able to tell you how you can achieve this. There are not a lot of other people that will be able to give you this assessment so thoroughly.

Your coach will be working with you almost every day during the season, you should trust their advice. Showing that you trust their advice and that you are willing to do what it takes to become a good player is also very beneficial.

If you would rather come up with your own workout, or if you do not know who your coach is going to be for the next season there are some basic guidelines you can follow. By following these guidelines you will get a lot out of your workouts.

First, you should start by stretching and warming up. Do not let this part of your workout take too much time but you should also make sure that each is done adequately.

After you have stretched and warmed up you will want to start with your sprints. You should divide your sprints into five, ten, twenty and forty yard dashes.

Starting with the five and ten yard dashes, you will be practicing your Brand Cialis starts. Your starts are crucial in the game of football.

You should make sure that you do not skimp on these parts of the workout. Although it may feel kind of pointless to be sprinting for five yards, it is extremely important.

When you have finished doing your sprints make sure that you take the time to drink some water. You can do some pretty serious damage to your body if you do not stay hydrated during your workout.

The shuttle run is the next part of this workout. These are intense and can be very tiring.

The runs are done in 10, 15 and 20 yard increments and you will be doing three sets. You start by standing and run to the ten yard line after bending down and touching the ten yard line you will then run back touching the start line and then turning to touch the 15 yard line.

In between each of the sets you should take one minute to rest. After you finish three sets take a five minute break and make sure that you rehydrate your body.

After finishing your shuttle run you will want to do a workout on stairs. This may be the most strenuous part of your workout.
