Jamaica Villas For a Caribbean Holiday
One could be forgiven for assuming that renting Jamaica villas is like any other vacation rental. Actually, there’s a world of difference. A villa on this Caribbean paradise is more like an oceanfront palace. It has more facilities than are normally found in a full-service hotel.
This includes air-conditioning, television, internet, and a heated outdoor pool with direct access to a private beach or a beach club. Some of the villas even have their own helipad, spa and fitness center. Many even have sports courts and large ballrooms for functions and events like weddings or conferences.
Every villa is also staffed to the teeth with everything from a chef to a butler, housekeeping staff and a driver. A laundress and nannies are available on call, if necessary. Even the seafood is freshly caught locally and delivered to the chef each morning.
Imagine a life where there are no chores and nothing else to do but relax and enjoy the royal treatment as the butler brings the drinks to the pool or the patio. Everything is taken care of, the weather is brilliant and the ocean view is beautiful. Guests can also check out the sights in Montego Bay, Negril or Ocho Rios and then head back to the ‘palace.’
Late evening, when the sun goes down and everything looks spookily beautiful, the butler comes up to announce that dinner is served. There’s something to be said for being able to dress casual when there’s a uniformed butler serving a candle light outdoor dinner by the pool. As for the meal, well, let’s just say that it’s not often that one gets to eat curried goat with coconut shrimp and jerk chicken.
For the kids, there’s a whole world of fun and loving care – which doesn’t have to come from the parents. The chef will prepare everything from burgers & fries to macaroni & cheese, pizzas and shakes for the children and salads for the health-conscious parent. Typical breakfast fare served in Jamaica villas includes banana plantains, pancakes, eggs & bacon, or cereal along with fresh fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice.
The nanny watches over the kids’ playtime building sand castles and digging holes. This leaves the parents free to laze in a hammock reading a book or enjoy the facilities and sights in the area. Speaking of which, there’s sure to be all kinds of golf courses, tennis courts and water sports facilities in the immediate neighborhood.
The beach is of course always there for sunbathing and to take a swim. Not to mention beach parties and horseback riding on the beach. Guests will also be able to browse the shops and galleries, enjoy the restaurants and bars and all kinds of entertainment.
The Caribbean’s beauty combined with Jamaican food and hospitality is something worth experiencing once in a while, if not every year. It helps make the vacation all that much more memorable if guests have their own private villa with all its facilities, staff and privacy. Bottomline is that Jamaica can’t help but treat visitors to a good time.
