1. The Door Store

Every door in the home has a back side and that means that every door is a potential storage area in the home. There are many organizers that are designed specifically to work on the back of a door. Some are already made while others are kits that are ready to assemble. Most hardware or home improvement stores have a variety of different selections for storage units that are designed to work in the space behind a door.

An entertainment center is a great way to keep electronic components organized and stored away.

Many furniture makers create dual function furniture that is very useful in smaller living spaces. It is easy to store blankets or tablecloths in a coffee table storage unit. A fish tank stand with a build in cabinet underneath it can work as a linen closet storing towels or bathroom supplies.
