A messy house with all the toys scattered around, a very noisy place caused by non stop crying means a total chaos. These scenes are just some of the minor things that happen when a toddler is in the house. I am speaking by experience here, with my five siblings four of them are already married and was blessed with kids one for each of them. Amazingly the gap of ages between the kids are not that long, so we got a four year old boy and girl, one three year old boy, and two 2 year old boy and girl in the house particularly during Sundays in time for our weekly family gathering. And with number of toddlers in the house, it is never a doubt that the house always ends up being topsey turvey. Well not literally but close that since the kids rules over the house with all the shouting\’s, running\’s and worst crying. Every family gathering, me and the rest of the members of the house ends up getting a headache because of the kids. However, we are left with no choice but to endure the irritating things they do since it is an understandable behavior for their age.

A toddler is what you call to a young child who toddles a lot. It is one of the growing stages for every individual particularly when they reach the age of 1 to 3 years old. During this stage, a lot of changes and developments happen starting the day the child was born. This is the stage wherein skills and the use of language is build up for the sake of learning and dealing with social roles. At this stage extra effort on the parent\’s part is highly needed to guide their young\’s over the things that are essential for the child\’s growth and development.

One crucial thing to consider is the must of creating a stimulating environment for toddlers that can help in the process of teaching and learning. Creating a stimulating environment can be done by using some ways that are proven to be an effective means for kids to learn. One method of baby stimulation is by using stimulation cards particularly white and black ones. This step is proven to stimulate and develop the child\’s visual sense. Another method that parents can do is to play a lot of music especially nursery rhymes. Music is confirmed to be a good means for babies to be aware of the language and rhythm that is included with music playing. Instrumental kind of music is highly recommended since these can provide the soothing and dramatic effect for the babies.

Reading to your child daily is another way of stimulating your baby\’s sense of language and learning. If parent\’s do this to their child daily these can help on teaching your babies to love the art of reading that can be carried even if they grow up. Reading alone can become a very good instrument for individuals to learn. This activity should be on the top of every parents list if they want their kids to learn. By doing all these suggestions, you can be assured that you are on the right track when it comes to teaching your babies particularly the toddlers.
