They will learn to analyze form and style, gain knowledge into the conceptual shifts of films and will be trained for directing, if that is a future desire.

A person who desires to have a career in film studies will be able to do critical work, production or direction. They will learn all aspects of the history and the dynamics behind analyzing films for their meaning and studying the impact they have on society. They will be able to direct, if they choose, with a clear eye on what they want the movie to say, how it will speak to the audience. They will use certain aspects of cinema to easily convey their meaning.
