How to Enjoy the Night Life in Peschiera
This little picturesque town can be found south of Laka Garda right on River Mincio. The town is surrounded by an enormous wall that has been built since the 16th century at least. They were initially built by the Scalgieri’s and then other structures were added by the Austrians, Venetians and the Italians.
This fortress was a very important structure during the military campaigns of North Italy. It was once belonging to the Austrians but went to the Piedmontese in around 1840’s during the War of Independence of the Italians.
When you are in this town you can find a lot of bars and cafes to hang out at. One popular one is ‘Bar Carducci’. Here you will find drinks as well as meals that are reasonably priced. You can also find live music there on many weekends making it an ideal place to be for good food and entertainment. You can find Caffe Centrale along Via Dante right in the heart of town. Sitting outside on a sunny day is a splendour as well as sitting outside in the night. There is Wi-Fi available so you can take your laptop along to check up on what you are missing out on or you can leave it at home. There is the Napule E lounge and wine bar which can be found alongside via Roma. Here you will find mostly the young and young at heart.
On the western side you can find the Due Route bar which is attended to mainly by bikers on the weekend. If you favour spicy foods there is a Mexican bar and restaurant where you can also dance the Salsa on a Saturday night. Though drinks are expensive at this bar you will find a large enough crowd there on the weekend. It can be found directly beside the Bella Italia and many people come there during the summer. On the eastern side on the River Mincio there is also the Lungolago Garibaldi as well as the Bar Jolly where you will find locals as well as tourists from Camping Butterfly which is nearby and you will get great prices.
You will love this little town as people never get loud and drunk so you can enjoy yourself no matter how late the night is. This is quite the opposite of what happens in Britain. Here you can feel free to bring your kids or your blooming adolescents without worrying about them being exposed to bad influences such as swearing, public urinating, fighting, vomiting and vandalism just to name a few.
Here in Peschiera you will love the laid back attitude of the locals as well as the friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy a meal or a drink with friends without being interrupted by boisterous drunks. You can indulge in orange coloured spritzer or Campari and white wine. Sunday mornings are also a pleasure as there is no litter to contend with if you decide to go for a stroll. This is quite the opposite of what happens in other European cities and thus you will be in for a nice surprise if you have ever been to any of the other European cities such as Britain.
