Carhartt Maintains Quality in Trendy New Spring and Summer 2011 Collections
(X25R2348)Carhartt is adding some new horses to their stable with additions to their lines of Carhartt Jeans, Carhartt Jackets and their redesigned Carhartt T-Shirts in the Spring and Summer of 2011.
Carhartt used a wide variety of high quality materials to ensure both comfort and durability. This season emphasizes the indication of overall growth and continued progression of the brand.
This year Carhartt has teamed up with the graphic designer Eric Elms of Adorn Studios to bring his perspective to the design of their new T-Shirts. Eric also worked on the Carhartt 2010 T-Shirt line with Benny Gold.
I like to describe Carhartt’s new T-Shirts as a blend of modern society’s style with Carhartt’s vintage value of being ruggedly durable. They have even begun sponsoring BMX bicycle riders and other extreme athletes to show their Carhartt T-Shirts can stand up to the test of these high impact sports.
Carhartt has always been famous for high quality products. The Carhartt Jeans division is also expanding this year. Particularly their jeans for women. Carhartt has begun making their Jeans in two new styles for women; the modern fit and the curvy fit. The modern fit has a low rise with a slim hip and thigh. The curvy fit has a mid-rise and as the name suggests, a curvy hip and thigh. Women’s Carhartt Fashion Jeans are also still available in their standard Traditional, Relaxed, and Dungaree fits.
Men can also buy the new signature Carhartt Jeans called 1889 jeans. The 1889 comes from the year when Carhartt was founded and started manufacturing quality, durable workwear. A lot has changed in the past 120 years but when it comes to Carhartt Jeans they are manufactured with the same attention to quality construction, comfortable fit, and durability that has made Carhartt famous.
Carhartt’s Spring and Summer 2011 line of Carhartt T-Shirts, Jeans, and Jackets stay true to the company’s commitment of quality construction. But with these new additions the brand is now being seen as street wear as well as work wear. Carhartt has introduced a new line of twill Carhartt T-Shirts that the famous automotive company West Coast Customs endorses.
I was most impressed by the new Carhartt Jackets for the 2011 Spring and Summer seasons. For women, they are now offering their Carhartt Jackets in light weight versions but they are lined with either sherpa or quilt to keep you warm while not bogging you down with excess material.
For men there are quite a few more options. When it comes to Carhartt Jackets, men have the choice between the Active, Arctic, and Michigan Carhartt Jackets. These Carhartt Jackets take advantage of a professional industrial coating; permanent wax.
Carhartt also employs this permanent wax in some of their Carharrt Jeans as well. The wax keeps your clothing waterproof even after being washed.
This promises to be an exciting year for Carhartt. The 2011 Spring and Summer Carhartt lines have introduced a lot of new quality products. The company continues to grow and operate for its 121st consecutive year. The new Carhartt T-Shirts make a statement, the Carhartt Jeans look like luxury designer jeans except they actually last like jeans should, and the new Carhartt Jackets will keep you dry and warm when it comes time to face the elements.
