Fences are among the most effective ways of keeping them away from your precious garden. Repellents can be quite effective, but do not always trick deer into keeping away from crops. The best method of preventing crop damage from deer may be to use a combination of these kinds of actions; build a fence around the crop before placing repellent plants throughout the crops. Add repellent sprays when you have ensured they will not damage the plants.
