No matter how much advertising goes on, there are still those people out there who think that they can get away with drinking alcohol and then driving off home without any thought for the law. Indeed, the situation has been curbed somewhat by careful policing, but there are still those hard headed individuals who think that the law does not apply to them and who go on to get arrested once they are caught. These days, the police do not need an excuse to stop someone who they suspect is breaking the law. If they just assume that someone is over the legal limit, they will stop and check that person out. In some states, an automatic withholding of the license occurs if the accused refuses to take a blood test. The sentence can be up to three or four times what it would be if he actually took the tests so it may well pay to just go with the flow if the driver knows that he has had drugs or alcohol.

This accumulation will then also become more progressive if the driver insists upon still going on with this kind of behavior and, eventually, he may be banned from driving completely. If there is collateral damage along the way, he may even end up doing jail time, this is how serious this crime is. For those who insist upon going through what can only be called anti-social behavior then, the expert will be needed to try to mitigate any losses that may occur.

No one should ever try to represent themselves in any kind of legal case since it will usually turn out worse than if the expert is used. Even experts use other experts so the layman should take note of this.
