When the pixels are turned off, they do not permit the backlight through, and when turned on, they permit the backlight through. There is not any radiation emitted from the screen. LCD TV’s can be hung on a wall or placed on small stand or other furniture piece. These TVs are a popular choice for TV and home theater viewing.
