Be sure that you don\’t place too much strain on your eyes by resting them once they get tired, especially after reading or after using the computer.

Watching what you eat can help a lot in eliminating unhealthy food choices that can aggravate or trigger eye disorders. Always consume fresh fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamins A and E known to do wonders to the eyes. Antioxidants such as lutein can be found in green leafy vegetables like spinach are also very useful in maintaining good health of the eyes. Some medical conditions also trigger eye damage and even blindness. One common example of this is diabetes.
